Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining the sales floor, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Marigold Market is a new Premium Home Decor Marketplace opening January 2025 in Wicker Park. We are looking for Sales Associates that can dedicate themselves to the mission of bringing accessible home decor to the Chicago community by helping our customers “live soulfully”.
Responsibilities
- —Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- —Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- —Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- —Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- —Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible.
- —Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
- —Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and customer feedback.
- —Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
Skills
- —Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
- —Strong ability to sell products through effective communication and engagement techniques.
- —Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- —Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members alike.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized Stock Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proactive and solutions-oriented. As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible oganizing inventory and having oversight of logistics to the overall success of the store. Marigold Market is a new Premium Home Decor Marketplace that opened its doors January 2025 in Wicker Park. We are looking for Stock Associates who can dedicate themselves to the mission of bringing accessible home decor to the Chicago community by helping our customers “live soulfully”.
Responsibilities
- —Assist in the continuous improvement of inventory management and logistics processes.
- —Accurately input inventory POS system and update stock in realtime
- —Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure device accuracy.
- —Collaborate with team members across store and warehouse for restock and inventory requirements.
- —Maintain stock levels for sales floor, ensuring products are correctly tagged and accessible.
- —Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
- —Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and customer feedback.
- —Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
Skills
- —Proficiency in Slack and POS systems.
- —Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members alike.
- —Self-starter and exceptional organizational skills
