While many are familiar with the more ornate versions of Chinese clay pottery, simple earthen vessels were more commonly used. Our collection of Lidded Village Jars is about 10 inches tall and housed, at one time, any number of cooking or daily accouterments. This is a vintage item. Condition, size and shape will vary.
