Figure Ground Woven Planter Basket

The Figure Ground Woven Planter Basket is handwoven from 100% natural palm leaves in a dense weave, with a wide-mouth opening and an outward-flaring silhouette. Large interlocking hourglass forms create a figure-ground pattern in which both colors can appear as the foreground, giving the design a striking optical effect.

Look at the cream forms, then the warm-toned forms: each reveals a different reading of the same pattern. Its graphic design brings visual interest to a plant display or works as a decorative piece on a shelf or console.

Use it as an indoor plant pot cover, desk organizer, bathroom storage basket, or a holder for yarn, crafts, magazines, books, and small toys. The wide opening makes everyday storage easy to access. It can also cover a cut-flower vase or serve as a thoughtful gift presentation basket.

Because each basket is handmade, slight variations in size are to be expected.

Dimensions: 12" x 12"
